How is the Foundation Structured?
The
Birmingham Falls Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees
comprised of unpaid volunteers. Trustees generally serve 1-2 year
terms and typically include parents of students who attend Birmingham
Falls, community leaders, Birmingham Falls PTA leaders, school
administrators and teachers liaisons.

get involved to help support our various programs and
initiatives. Currently we are looking for volunteers to assist in:





The Role of a Foundation Representative
Are
you a frequent E-mailer? Do you like to keep in touch with the
parents in your child's class? Looking for an easy (yet
important) way to help Birmingham Falls Foundation? Then, this is
the job for you!!
As
a Foundation Representative, you have the opportunity to greatly
enhance communications and increase understanding of the value BFF adds
to Birmingham Falls Elementary School. Foundation Reps will play
a vital role in encouraging participation in BFF sponsored
activities!
The
primary role of the Foundation member is to route BFF communications to
the parents for the class they are representing, especially in the Fall
as we kick off our annual Patron Program. Foundation Reps also act as a
contact for parents regarding Foundation related questions, suggestions
and input.
Additional
roles may include identifying parent volunteers for Foundation
sponsored programs, as well as providing support to teachers and
Foundation instructors as needed.
While this role doesn't require a high time commitment, it's vital to the continued support BFF provides for Birmingham Falls Elementary School!
