Broader
Community Reach. The BFF has access to an extended community
including corporate sponsors and grant programs that supplement the PTA
and other fundraising programs.
Infrastructure. Fixed capital expenses, such as playground equipment and computer labs can be funded through the BFF.
Reading and Writing Supplemental Programs
Multi-year
Agreements. This allows the BFF to provide financial support for
educational resources and programs like foreign language teachers, a
drama program, teacher grants, educational software subscriptions and
more.
Instruction.
Enrichment curriculums, including teacher salaries and classroom
equipment for performing arts, foreign language, science and technology.
Newsletter.
Distributed monthly updating parents, teachers and school
administrators on fundraising progress and earmarked programs.
Grants. The BFF supports Teacher grants and programs for an enriched educational experience.
Help where needed. The Foundation works with the PTA to help fund critical gap areas for enrichment programs.
Access to additional corporate sponsorships and grants.
Media and Technology. In-school news programs and advanced media support.
Flexibility.
Unlike the PTA, we do not need to spend all collected funds by the end
of the school year. This allows BFF to save money for large
ticket items and capital improvements such as playground equipments and
science labs.
Additional After-School Programs. Chess, Drama, Jogging, Foreign Language and other enrichment programs.
Library. Supplemental books and reading materials are provided to both the school library and classroom.
Lifetime support.
Science Enrichment. Discovery Zone and other in-school science programs can be funded through the BFF.
